An off the shelf balanced internal seal. A general service seal. (up to 500 psi)

  • Static o'ring prevents shaft or sleeve wear.
  • Springs are isolated from the product to prevent clogging.
  • All seal shaft sizes have the same installation length of 1.75".

R9 Mechanical Seal

Unbalanced, multi-spring, set screw driven seal uses a teflon wedge to seal on shaft. (up to 100psi)

Can be converted to a hydraulically balanced design to operate up to 600 psi. (R9B)
